DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., C. 1905, "Parma", 8-day time/strike mantel clock.
CONDITION:
Mahogany and inlayed case that appears to have a later shellac or wax finish over an original finish. There is some roughness on the front edges of the case in a couple places. The maple string inlay on the top of the case has been repaired with filler where parts of it was missing. Original porcelain dial is chipped at the S/F setting arbor, the time and strike winding arbor and a chip on the edge at 7 o'clock. Hands are original. Movement is signed. Ht. 12".
